Is the Astronaut game real or fake? What Hash, Salt and the Fairness check prove, and what they cannot
Astronaut is a real game: 100HP Gaming, a studio in Limassol, lists it on its own site, and four B2B platforms distribute the studio’s games. “Real”, “fair” and “safe for you” are three different questions, though, and this guide answers the middle one with the tool built into the game, a Hash shown before the flight and a Salt shown after it. The status comes first: online gambling is not legal or regulated in Pakistan and no operator holds a Pakistani licence, so a genuine game can still sit on a site you have no way to hold to account.
Is Astronaut a real game, and who stands behind it?
Yes. 100HP Gaming lists Astronaut on its own site as a crash game “Launched in 2025”, with RTP 98% and Very High volatility, and the game has its own catalogue id in the studio’s gateway. You can confirm each piece in a few minutes without trusting any third-party page.
| What you check | What we found on 12 October 2026 | Type of source |
|---|---|---|
| Game card | Crash category, RTP 98%, Very High volatility, “Launched in 2025” | Studio’s own site |
| Official demo | Wrapper at casino.100hp.game opens the client at 100hp.app/astronaut2/demo/ with a $10,000 play balance and a “Provably fair · protected” badge | Studio’s own domains |
| Company | Limassol (Cyprus), founded 2022, 51–200 staff (one distributor page says 2023) | LinkedIn profile and trade press |
| Distribution | SOFTSWISS (October 2024), Hub88 (June 2025, 18 games), REEVO (August 2025), Timeless Tech (September 2025, review of Astronaut dated 2 September 2025) | B2B announcements |
| RNG certificate, licence number | Not published on 100hp.game | A gap, not a proof either way |
For you: authenticity is a ten-minute check against the studio’s own domains. A page that cannot point you to 100hp.game or to the official demo is showing you a copy, a different game with the same name, or an advert. The detailed company and version facts are in the guide to 100HP Gaming and its versions.
What do the Hash and the Salt show in each round?
Client v2 gives every round its own Round ID, a Hash that appears before the flight and a Salt that appears after it. A hash is a fixed-length fingerprint of some data, and a salt is the extra value mixed into that data. Showing the fingerprint first and the salt afterwards is the usual commit-and-reveal pattern: if the result were changed after the Hash was displayed, the pair would stop matching.
100HP does not publish which data goes into the Hash or which function builds it, so the paragraph above describes the general pattern, not a documented 100HP algorithm. The “server seed + client seed + nonce” recipe that affiliate pages print is not from the studio. For you: the pair lets you test one finished round after the fact; it never shows you the next result, because the Salt is revealed only once the round is over.
How do you run a Fairness check on a finished round?
- Finish a round.Let the rocket crash or withdraw first. In the official demo you play with credits, and the check screen is the same one you meet at a casino.
- Open the round details.Client v2 lists Round ID, Hash, Salt and Multiplier under Round details, behind the Provably fair button. Labels are as read on 12 October 2026; a casino skin can rename them or move them.
- Copy the Hash and the Salt. The client has copy buttons for both, so you do not retype long strings.
- Open the Fairness check window. It compares the pair with the Multiplier of the round and reports verification success or verification failed.
- Compare the Multiplier with the chip in Last rounds. The figure in the details must equal the number on the coloured chip you saw.
- Note the Round ID and the date.If a casino ever disputes a result, an ID you wrote down is something to ask about.
Want to run the check on a live round?
Astronaut opens in the browser at the partner casino, an offshore operator, and its welcome bonus is 600% up to Rs 3,000,000. No APK, plays in the browser · 18+ · Not legal or regulated in Pakistan · Play responsibly.
Play Astronaut with the bonusWhat does the Fairness check prove, and what does it leave open?
It answers one narrow question well and several others not at all. Read the table before you let the words “provably fair” reassure you about anything else.
| Question | Does the check answer it? | What it means for you |
|---|---|---|
| Was this multiplier changed after the Hash was shown? | Yes, that is what the pair tests | A matching pair is evidence the result was fixed before the flight |
| How is the multiplier drawn? | No, the algorithm is not published | You cannot recompute the distribution yourself |
| Is the RTP really 98%? | No, one round says nothing about millions | Only the rules screen of your casino states its configuration |
| Will the next round be high or low? | No, and that is the design | Every predictor sold for Astronaut fails here, see the predictor and signals guide |
| Will the casino pay out and keep your account open? | No, that is outside the game | In Pakistan no regulator stands behind that promise |
Can a casino still give you a worse deal than the studio’s 98%?
Yes, and it would not touch the fairness of a single round. 100HP tells operators it offers “flexible customization options including RTP adjustments”, so a casino can run a lower configuration while every round still passes its Fairness check. Affiliate pages quote 96% and 97%; none of them names a source. A round that is fair at 96% costs you more per rupee staked than one at 98%, as the RTP 98% guide shows in rupees.
For you: run the Fairness check for the round, and read Rules of play for the RTP line before you stake. Treat a missing RTP line as an unknown, not as 98%.
Which claims on “real or fake” pages are themselves fake?
Pages that rank for this question often invent the proof they cite. These claims, found in search results on 12 October 2026, are ones the studio does not make:
- “Certified by iTech Labs, renewed quarterly.” 100hp.game publishes no test-lab certificate; the name appears on affiliate pages only.
- “Server seed, client seed and nonce, SHA-256.” A description borrowed from other games; the Astronaut client shows a Hash and a Salt.
- “RTP 97%, official.” The studio’s declared figure is 98%.
- “Up to 10,000x” or “50,000x” are invented ceilings: 100HP publishes no maximum multiplier, only a maximum payout per bet.
- “Founded in 2020, site 100hpgaming.com.” The studio’s own site is 100hp.game and it dates itself to 2022.
For you: none of these numbers can be checked. The Hash and the Salt in your own round are the only proof the game itself offers, and reading them costs nothing.
What should you do next?
Run one Fairness check in the official demo, then read what 98% means over 100 rounds and how to tell the original game from an APK clone. Before any real-money round, read the legal-status guide: a verified round does not make the operator reachable by any Pakistani authority. The button-by-button rules are on how to play Astronaut.
Which sources back these numbers?
- Astronaut game card on 100hp.game — RTP 98%, Very High volatility, “Launched in 2025”, crash category.
- official 100HP demo page — the official demo wrapper, $10,000 play balance.
- client v2 of the official demo — interface strings, limits and configuration read on 12 October 2026.
- Timeless Tech, provider page and review of Astronaut, 2 September 2025; SOFTSWISS provider page; Hub88 announcement of 20 June 2025 (slotbeats.com).
- 100HP Gaming company page — Limassol, founded 2022, “RTP adjustments” wording.
- Register entry for the number “8048/JAZ”, cert.cga.cw, checked 12 October 2026 (it belongs to another company).
Facts checked on 12 October 2026. Where 100HP Gaming publishes no figure we write “not disclosed”; casinos can set their own limits and RTP, so the rules screen of the game you open always has the last word.
What else do players ask about Astronaut fairness?
Is Astronaut rigged?
The game gives you a per-round proof against tampering: a Hash before the flight, a Salt after it and a Fairness check. That covers changes after the fact, not the design. 100HP declares RTP 98% but publishes neither the algorithm nor a test-lab certificate, so “rigged” can be neither proved nor disproved from outside. What you can verify is each round you play.
Does the Hash change every round?
Yes. Each round carries its own Round ID, Hash and Salt, listed with the Multiplier in the round details of client v2. A Hash from an old round tells you nothing about the next one. Two rounds showing the same Hash would be a reason to stop playing and ask the operator.
Does the demo have the Fairness check too?
Yes. The “Provably fair · protected” badge was on screen in the official demo on 12 October 2026, next to a $10,000 play balance. A casino build of the game can look different, so repeat the check there before you rely on it. The demo uses play credits and does not unlock the bonus.
Who tests the Astronaut random number generator?
100HP does not name a test lab on 100hp.game. Affiliate pages name iTech Labs and a Curaçao number, “8048/JAZ”, but the register entry for that number belongs to another company. Distributors such as SOFTSWISS and Timeless Tech describe 100HP as holding a Curaçao licence; the number itself is not published.
Is a fair round enough to play safely from Pakistan?
No. A fair round proves the multiplier, not the payout. Online gambling is not legal or regulated in Pakistan, so no regulator takes a complaint about a frozen account, a changed bonus term or a blocked site, and the PTA can block the operator at any time under section 37 of PECA 2016. The age limit is 18.
