Privacy policy: what this site knows about you, and what it does not
This policy explains what personal data astronautgame.pk handles when you read it, and what it does not. No comprehensive data-protection law is in force in Pakistan at the time of writing, so we follow GDPR-style principles (a stated purpose, limited retention, access and deletion rights) because they are good practice, not because a Pakistani law requires them.
Which law applies to your data here?
The Personal Data Protection Bill, a draft from 2023, had still not cleared both houses of Parliament when law-firm surveys were published in March 2026 (see the Chambers guide to data protection in Pakistan). Other rules exist: s. 16 of the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act 2016 covers unauthorised use of identity information, and Article 14 of the Constitution deals with privacy. For you this means we collect as little as we can. Readers in the UK or the EU may have extra rights under their own law, and we treat everyone’s data the same way.
Who is responsible for the data?
The publisher of astronautgame.pk decides why and how data is handled on this site. Every request about data goes to [email protected].
What data do we handle?
- Server logs. Your IP address, browser type, the page you asked for and the time of the request, recorded by the hosting service for security and diagnostics.
- Browser storage. One cookie,
pso_consent, which remembers your choice in the cookie banner. It stays on your device, and the site writes nothing else to your browser storage (see the Cookie Policy). - Messages. What you write in an email to the editorial address, including your address and any details you choose to add.
There are no sign-up forms or user accounts on this site. We do not ask for or store a CNIC number, a phone number, payment details or documents. When you open an account at a casino, you give that data to the casino and it does not pass through us.
Why do we handle it, and on what basis?
- To run and secure the site (our legitimate interest).
- To answer the messages you send (to respond to your request).
- To meet obligations the law places on us (legal obligation).
- For analytics, only with your consent, and only if an analytics tool is added. None is active today.
What happens when you press a partner button?
The button sends you through an internal route of this site to the partner casino. The redirect carries technical parameters that name this site and the button you used, and no personal data. From that moment the casino’s own privacy policy applies, and nothing you type there reaches us. Read it before you register, because it covers identity checks and payment data that we never see.
How long do we keep data, and who sees it?
The hosting provider handles server logs on our behalf and keeps them only as long as security needs, and no longer than 12 months. Emails are read by the editorial team and kept while the request is open. We do not sell data and do not share it for marketing. Because the hosting service and any content-delivery layer in front of it may run on servers outside Pakistan, technical data such as your IP address can be processed abroad.
What are your rights?
- See what we hold about you, and have it corrected or deleted.
- Object to a particular use, or take back a consent you gave.
- Receive a copy of your data in a readable form.
Write to [email protected] and we answer within 30 days. While the draft law has not passed, we cannot point you to a Pakistani data-protection regulator; write to us first, and if you live in the UK or EU you can also contact your local authority.
Does the site collect data about children?
The site is for adults only. The Majority Act 1875 sets the age of majority in Pakistan at 18, and gambling is for people of 18 and over. We do not collect data from minors on purpose; if you think a minor has sent us a message, tell us and we will remove it.
How is the data protected?
The site is served over an encrypted connection (https), loads no third-party scripts or fonts, and has no forms that collect data. Logs are available only to authorised technical staff and are deleted when their retention period ends.
When does this policy change?
